Hopefully the next version will revert back to supporting the functionality y’alls devices are capable of.Ĭhris, first I just wanted to say it’s nice to talk directly to those working with the new Logitech Gaming Software.

I find this really weird that y’all would spend so much time improving the look & feel of the program (which I do like), but then remove functionality.

I read in this post that the upgrade should preserve all profiles and settings, but my experience shows me it does neither. After downgrading back to 3.06 and moving the profiles off of the G13 to the computer and then re-upgrading, my profiles are still missing. This has become an even more frustrating point because when I upgraded the firs time, none of my profiles transferred because they are on the onboard memory. After reading the previous comments, I find it really annoying that this “upgrade” actually leaves out features that 3.06 had, mainly access to the onboard storage (which used to be a selling point on the G13).

I just tried upgrading to this new software and I’d have to say it has not been very successful.

If you find that the 7.0 software is not meeting your needs, the 3.06 version is still available for download in 32-bit and 64-bit forms. We’ve received a significant amount of feedback on this software and are working hard on investigating root causes and eventually providing an updated, improved version. Give it a try and let us know what you think in the forums. Logitech Gaming Software 7.0 supports the G11, G110, G13, both versions of the G15, G510, and G19 gaming keyboards. Each M-key mode can have a different backlighting color, so you can tell at a glance what mode you’re in. And you can choose whether you want the Application Button next to the LCD to immediately switch to the next applet, or to display a list of all running applets.įor the G13, G19, G110, and G510 you can also change the color of the backlighting to suit your preference. If the applet has configurable settings, you can right click it to change those. To select applets you’d like to display on your LCD screen, just check which ones you’d like to see. For example, if you’re an advanced user you can right-click on the profile icon and choose “Scripting” to use the included LUA editor to create intricate scripts that give much more control over the way the keyboard behaves. There are also right-click menus for most controls that reveal additional configuration options. The interface is designed to be straightforward and clean, giving you quick access to most commonly-used features. We include profiles for over 190 different games, and if your game isn’t on our list yet you can easily create one. You can assign single keystrokes, multi-key macros, blocks of text, or shortcuts to launch programs. To assign commands to the programmable G-keys, you just drag them from the left hand side of the screen and drop them on the G-key you want to assign them to.

The navigation buttons along the bottom of the screen show all the configuration options for the selected device – so, for example, on the G13 you can choose to program G-keys, configure applet display on the GamePanel LCD screen, or change backlighting color. Once installed, it automatically recognizes which G-Series keyboard (or gameboard) you have attached to your computer and enables you to quickly toggle between connected devices and access all the device’s features from one interface. The new software can upgrade all previous versions of the GamePanel software while keeping all your existing profiles and settings.

The Logitech Gaming Software 7.0 is the culmination of that work. For the last year, we’ve been busy behind the scenes developing a completely new software interface for our G-Series gaming keyboards.
